Novamar Services Information-Claims
Claims in Mexico are handled different than other countries.
Policy type determines course of action:
Auto claims
Please contact the insurance company as soon as possible using the claims department phone numbers provided in your policy. You can find the relevant contact numbers listed below on this page. When you call, provide the policy number and your location. An adjuster will be assigned to your claim and will arrive where you are.
Other policies
Contact us and we will file your claim on your behalf. We will coordinate with you and the insurance company’s adjuster to gather the required documents and manage the claim process. If the incident occurs outside of our office hours, please contact the insurance company directly by calling the claims number listed in your policy. You can find the relevant contact numbers listed below on this page.
Under Mexican insurance law:
- You must notify the insurance company no later than 48 hours after you become aware of the claim.
- Once all required documents have been submitted, the insurance company has up to 30 days to pay the claim.
- You have up to 24 months to submit the required documentation; after this period, the claim will be cancelled by the insurance company.
With offices in the US and in Mexico, Novamar is always at your service.
Our Mexico office is fluent in English and Spanish, assuring a familiar voice when you need it most.
